Oh, hello Watson

There was a character in our D+D game hanging upside down but still smoking his pipe. It inspired a quick sketch that later turned into a big production in Photoshop.
What's great about Holmes is that he knows exactly how to behave in polite Victorian society, but in the privacy of his flat it all goes out the window. Causing explosions, shooting the queen's monogram into the wall, tracking in mud from all over London and then saving it to study, boxing with his flat mate in the dining room... you name it. Watson is only ever mildly surprised these days when he comes home to something odd.
